Grain analysis of polycrystalline Cu wires. (a) SEM image of Cu wire. (b) SEM image of Cu wire cut and scanned by ion beam. (c) SEM image with ion beam scanning shows clear intra-grain contrast due to ion channeling effect. The core of Cu wire was produced by different mechanical process according to its grain morphology.
